BASc (Financial Technology)

The Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Financial Technology programme is designed to nurture financial technologists and entrepreneurs with essential knowledge in both finance and technology, so they can take leading roles in innovation and applications of financial technology.  This programme combines computing, finance, and policies and regulations to give students a thorough grounding in FinTech.

MSc (Financial Technology & Data Analytics)

The Master of Science in Financial Technology and Data Analytics programme aims to prepare students for a career in the ever-changing world of FinTech – a world fuelled by constant technological advancements and innovations.  Through our courses, students will gain essential knowledge and FinTech skills necessary for navigating the changing landscape of the finance industry. 

MSc (Computer Science) Financial Computing stream

The Master of Science in Computer Science (Financial Computing Stream) is the study of data and algorithms used in finance and the mathematics of computer programmes that realise financial models or systems.  Financial Computing emphasises practical numerical methods and focuses on techniques that are directly applicable to business and financial analysis.  The emphasis will be in the computing aspect of the financial industry.

BEng (Computer Science) Financial Computing Focus

The Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) is a programme that offers a solid education in the fundamental and essential areas of computing. On completion of this curriculum, students will be well-equipped with both basic and advanced knowledge in computer science, which aims to better prepare students to launch their career in IT industry and/or to pursue postgraduate studies in this area. Students can deepen their knowledge in financial computing by taking courses under the Financial Computing Focus. Through these courses, students will gain essential computing techniques that are directly applicable to business and financial analysis.
