HKU-SCF FinTech Academy InnoSpace

In order to better utilize the space, the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy is happy to share the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy’s InnoSpace (Room 103, LG/F, Chow Yei Ching Building, HKU) with the Academy’s student members for doing FinTech-related research and activity.  Please refer to the following rules and guidelines for users who would like to reserve the InnoSpace:

Rules for the Use of the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy InnoSpace

The rules below apply to the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy InnoSpace (Room 103, LG/F, Chow Yei Ching Building, HKU).  The InnoSpace is open for users from Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (excluding holidays).  Please note that violators will be marked on the block list.

1. With effect from 1 February 2023, designated student members are able to reserve the InnoSpace for FinTech-related research and activity purposes only (i.e. FinTech-related research, meetings, workshops etc.).

2. The InnoSpace is on a first-come-first-served basis. Please reserve the InnoSpace for next month on or before the 25^th of the current month.  The Academy will share the successful bookings on the Academy’s website on the 28^th of every month.  The Academy will send NO further notice messages to users.

3. All bookings can no longer be changed or cancelled.

4. Each person or each group can reserve the InnoSpace for up to 8 hours per week.

5. Food is NOT allowed in the InnoSpace. Only beverages transported and consumed from spill-proof containers are allowed.

6. Users are responsible for their personal property at all times and should never leave personal belongings unattended. Thefts of laptops, purses, phones, backpacks, jackets, etc. may occur.

7. When Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, the InnoSpace (including the 24-hour zone) will be close. All users should leave immediately. When Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force, the InnoSpace (including the 24-hour zone) will remain open. Users are recommended to stay in a safe location.
