Professor David Srolovitz, Dean of Engineering of HKU, and Mr. Colin Pou, Executive Director (Financial Infrastructure) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) represented their institutions to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 19, 2021 at HKMA to form strategic partnership and foster long-term collaboration on FinTech talent development. The University will participate in HKMA’s Industry Project Masters Network (IPMN) Scheme and provide opportunities for our students to gain real-life FinTech project experience.
Professor David Srolovitz said “HKU is devoted to groom world class FinTech talents through our interdisciplinary FinTech programmes and the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy. We are delighted to collaborate with HKMA to create more enrichment opportunities for students and to cultivate future-fit talents in FinTech.”
