The Master of Science in Financial Technology and Data Analytics programme (part-time) is now accepting applications for admission in 2021-2022.
This brand-new interdisciplinary master programme is designed to nurture financial technologists and entrepreneurs with essential knowledge in both finance and technology. Through the courses, students will gain FinTech knowledge and skills necessary for navigating the changing landscape of the finance industry, as well as knowledge of the hottest industry trends.
We collaborate with The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) to develop a Work-Study Scheme, with ASTRI providing paid full-time employment for up to 30 students for a nine-month period and assigning them to one of ASTRI’s many ongoing FinTech projects. This scheme is for first-year students enrolled in MSc(FTDA), suitable for newly graduates.
Moreover, the HKU-SCF Fintech Academy will offer five scholarship, each at the value of HK$60,000, exclusively for MSc(FTDA) and MSc(Compsc) [Financial Computing Stream] students who are Hong Kong permanent residents.
